Digital wallets
Digital wallets are an alternative payment method. WhiteBoot supports pass-through wallets and staged wallets.
Pass-through wallets
Pass-through wallets use payment card data and do not require the customer to top up a wallet balance in advance. The payer simply adds a card to the digital wallet, and funds are debited from that card when the wallet is used for payment.
Benefit: fast payment without entering payment details.
Examples: Apple Pay, Google Pay™.
Staged wallets
Staged wallets require the payer to top up the wallet balance first and then transfer funds from the wallet to you.
Benefit: enhanced protection of payment data without requiring bank cards.
Examples: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PIX, GG, MULTIBANKO.
